18-Year Old Girl Youngest to Summit Everest
When I was 18 years old, the only thing I successfully accomplished was getting out of bed in time for my early morning class. But, Samantha Larson has something different to brag about.
Last Wednesday, the 18-year old from long beach, California, became the youngest American to climb Everest. And as if that wasn't enough, she's also the youngest person to climb all 7 summits.
