Death Valley: Land Of Extremes Part Nine

It seems I have offended the four wheel drive community with my opinions expressed in an earlier blog. I want to sincerely apologize if my words came across as such. My intention was not to in any way demean those who choose to drive four wheel drive vehicles for their enjoyment. We have a common love for getting away from it all by taking forays out into the natural world.
You know, the kind of places where you can get sanctuary from the traffic, noise and air pollution, broken glass and guns being discharged, barking dogs, loud and obnoxious groups of Americans – oops! That was exactly what this long chain of jeeps brought to the otherwise serene and undisturbed desert air.
death valley has suffered from many groups of the avid four wheel drive contingency who disrespect the land with their actions. Am I claiming that all people who enjoy this form of entertainment act like this? NO! Just the ones I witnessed that weekend, and on other occasions in different settings. I am no rookie to the outdoor world, and I simply reporting what I, as a blogger, as a journalist, have experienced . . . sorry if my truth offends you.
