Doctor Climbing Toward Goal

In an effort to raise funds for the new Seaton ear, nose and throat clinic, Dr. Rob Daniels will travel to Africa in January to serve as the resident doctor on a VSO expedition to challenge the 19,000 foot summit of the continent's highest peak.
All of the money raised by Daniels will go into the hospital - he's hoping to raise roughly $6,000 (US).
Dr. Daniels said: "The League of Friends has raised £30,000 to make the clinic such a success and I though it was time I tried to repay all their hard work."
Daniels is an experienced climber who says he's looking forward to the 80 kilometer trek to the top. Click here to read more or to make a donation through the League of Friends.
