Heli-Skiing for Christmas?
Thanks to Brian Clark I have something entirely new to add to my Christmas list this year - heli-skiing in British Columbia's Canadian Rockies.

In Brian's Snow Blog, he's way too good at describing the massive amounts of virgin snow and 100,000 vertical feet of skiing in the remote Selkirk and Monashee mountain ranges. Chopper in, and when you're too pooped to powder any more, they chopper you out... back to the lodge for hot chocolate or a whole calendar of other activities.
Parents can ski with their children until the kids get tired - or vice versa. The tired ones are then helicoptered back to the lodge where a variety of supervised activities is on offered - including a climbing wall, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, building igloos and snowmen, and doing crafts in the lodge.

In the evening, a family dinner will be served with special menu choices for the kids. Adding to the festive atmosphere, there will be Christmas and Hanukkah celebrations, including a tree with real candles, menorah lightings, and presents for everyone in the lodge.

Visit Brian's Snow Blog for prices, dates and more information. Too cool.
