Holiday Ideas for Travelers

Yes, it's that time of year. Christmas! In fact, I was in the a department this weekend and they had Christmas music playing. Can you believe it? Don't complain. Grab a pen and paper and start making your list. But, if you need recommendations for the traveler in your family, an article on Yahoo! should help.

I like this article because they list practical gifts for travelers. Some are a bit out of my price range, but the things listed really could make the receiver a happy person. I especially like the choices for the adventure traveler.Even more, Lonely Planet founder Tony Wheeler and Amy Ziff of Travelocity, participated in the story.

In case I'm on someone's Christmas list, those trekking poles sound nice....
