Hunter Safety Essay Contest Is On

Outdoor Products are sponsoring the "Take Aim at Safety" essay contest for hunters between the ages of 8 and 15.Participants are asked to write a 250- to 750-word essay that answers the following question:
"How do the important principles of safe shooting - discipline, self control, patience and responsibility - extend into other aspects of hunting?" For example: hunter ethics, respect for the animal and ensuring the future of hunting.
The grand prize winner of the contest and a parent or guardian will win a
trip to the RMEF's Elk Camp in Reno, Nev. Feb. 22-25. The deadline is Jan.
1, 2007.
