New Format and Content for the Outdoor Weblog

As you're probably aware, this was my first week as the new editor of the Outdoor Weblog. And I would like to thank everyone who took the time to either leave a comment or email me to welcome me into the outdoor community. I truly appreciate it.
And its because of you that I'm dedicated to updating the Outdoor Weblog regularly. This week you learned tips to avoiding submersion accidents, read about a women's solo Appalachian hike, marveled at a sherpa's attempt at the Everest record, and discovered the world of outside and adventure magazines.
But, I want to do more than that. In addition to providing you with the latest outdoor news, I want to break the mole of the traditional outdoor blog and bring you something a little different. So, after a week of brainstorming, I'm excited to announce a new weekly structure for the Outdoor Weblog.
Here are my ideas:
Monday
Outdoor Question of the Week — a weekly question pertaining to outdoor sports or activities and adventure travel
Tuesday
The Outdoor Enthusiast Next Door — a weekly interview with an outdoor lover or adventure traveler discussing recent adventures and professing their love for the outdoors
Wednesday
Outdoor/Adventure News — a roundup of outdoor/adventure travel news
Thursday
Today/Week/Month in Outdoor/Adventure Travel History — a little known historical fact or tidbit about the outdoors
Friday
Weekend Discussion — a weekly discussion to provoke intellectual and, sometimes, controversial debate
Weekly Recap — a recap of the week's latest outdoor news
Of course, this structure is subject to change and I reserve the right to change or amend the format at anytime.
Lastly, I would like to invite all readers of this blog to leave a comment and introduce yourself. Let me know who you are and where you are from. I will personally respond to each comment.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
