Outdoor Furniture Sales Going On Now
Most stores selling outdoor furniture have been going through slow sales since the housing slump began. Most consumers have cut down on purchases overall, but one thing they significantly slashed was spending on non-essential furniture.
As a result of slow sales this summer, most furniture retailers are offering discounts as high as 65 percent. Home Depot… for example, gives price cuts on select items as going up to 25 per cent until August 13. Target is selling four-piece patio wicker sets for as low as $209, 65 per cent below the regular price. Other stores that have posted deep discounts for outdoor furniture include Lowe's and Wal-Mart, which usually have large inventories for these items.
Other outdoor items are also being sold with huge discounts. Inflatable pools, swing sets and grills are being sold at 15 per cent discounts by stores like eToys.com and Wal-Mart.
