Outdoor Inspiration: Will Steger
Filed in archive Adventure by Terah Shelton on September 13, 2007

This week's outdoor inspiration comes from the icy and cold Arctic. It's a story about Will Steger, an Arctic explorer whose "feet have touched over 40,000 miles of the icy continents". I found this video on the MSNBC travel website and I was fascinated by a man who lives by his own rules. A man who for 40 years has been exploring the coldest parts of the world.
He's now turned his focus to educating the world about the effects of global warming, a condition that effecting the portion of the world he loves. If you don't believe in global warming, then the video may be a bit political. However, I ask you to listen to Steger's story and see if you're not inspired.
A Man Who Walks the Edges of the World
