Biking is a great way to become intimate with a city and get excercise at the same time. There are many amazing cities for biking throughout the world - these gems allow you to explore the city at ease and safely. The 11 most accessible and bike friendly cities are listed below, but these are merely a sampling of the bike friendly paradises that exist throughout the world.
Seattle Snowboarders Missing Near Crystal Mountain
The Pierce County sheriff
's office says three male snowboarders are missing between Crystal Mountain and Yakima. Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer says ground searchers have not been able to enter the area due to avalanche risk and bad weather. Avalanches have been reported in the area. Troyer says the men, believed to be in their 20s and 30s, went backcountry snowboarding Friday and were due back Sunday night. He says they were reported overdue on Monday.Around the World in 60 Days - Using Biofuels
According to this article over at Telegraph.co.uk, the Earthrace will set off in March in an attempt to circle the globe in just 60 days, soundly beating the old record of 75 days. When you read about the boat's performance, that doesn't sound at all far-fetched. It can carry more 13,000 liters of fuel, enough to power it halfway around the globe, while sustaining speeds of up to 40 knots.
