Senegalese Man Attempts Olympic Bid

Sometimes we need to be inspired, motivated, or just reminded how easy and great we have it here in the United States. So, this morning, I went in search of inspiration or a story that moved me. I grew up watching the Olympics and listening to Bob Costras or Jeremy Schaap tell the untold story of an athlete who defined the odds to be there. The Olympics are filled with those stories. And that's where I found my daily inspiration.
The video below is about a Senegalese man determined to make it to the Olympics in kayaking. He barely speaks or understands English, but is focused to make his country proud. Watch it and see if it doesn't touch you.
