If you are planning to travel to French mountains this summer then there is more to adventure than just biking. Adults and children can have a thrilling time at many of France's adventure circuits located at the Alps, Vosges and Pyrenees. By paying a small fee between €14 and €20, you can enjoy rappelling and rope walking.

Another adrenaline pumping option available to you is rock climbing. With the help of ropes harnesses and metal ladders you will be able to move up, down and across the mountain. Some of the popular climbing sites in French mountains are vias of Aussois, gorges of the Durance and Saix du Tour via ferrata at Les Portes du Soleil.

You can even enjoy water sports activities such as kayaking and rafting. Kids can also enjoy ride downriver rapids under professional guide or adult supervision or paddle a kayak in calm waters. In areas around Morillon, kids can paddle on a smooth lake and carry out canoeing on easy streams.
