Top 10 Bike-Friendly Cities
Filed in archive Biking on October 15, 2006
Andrea Sachs of The Washington Post got together with Adventure Cycling Association of Montana and Bicycling magazine to come up with the list of the 10 friendliest bicycling cities in the U.S.
The cities made the grade by providing not only safe streets, but such amenities as lighted bike routes, indoor bike parking and shower stations.
Making the list are:

- Portland, Ore.
- Seattle
- San Francisco
- Davis, Calif.
- Boulder, Colo.
- Tucson, Ariz.
- Madison, Wis.
- Chicago
- Austin, Texas
- Philadelphia
