Wrist Fish Finder

Wrist Fish Finder

A cool new gadget that debuted in 2006 was the SmartCast fish finder, a lure-sized, remote sonar sensor that can be cast from a wristwatch-sized holder. The sensor can be cast about 75 feet and is easily retrieved. The finder will show information on the wrist display about nearby suspended fish, the underwater structure and bottom to a depth of 120 feet and surface water temperature.

Details:

  • Impressive 75 ft. radius remote operating range
  • 100 ft. depth capability with ultra-wide 90 degree sonar beam
  • Easy-to-see wristmount display
  • One-touch menu navigation easily controls FishID, depth range, fish alarm, and sensitivity
  • Lightweight, compact, and totally waterproof display
  • Display uses a 2450CR replaceable battery
  • Fully waterproof Remote Sonar Sensor typically lasts for 400 hours of in-the-water usage.

The SmartCast fish finder can be used from a boat, from onshore, and while wading and in lakes, ponds, streams and rivers. Check SmartCast for more details and pricing.

Well, it shouldn’t be too hard to catch some fish once you own such a device. My boss used to have something similar, but the truth is that it was quite annoying to go fishing with him… He used to catch so many fish, while the rest of us were struggling to get at least one…
